YAM Allowlist Manager has never collected and will never collect any personal data, browsing history, etc.
YAM Allowlist Manager uses the Chrome (Chromium) or WebExtensions Storage Sync API for storing your settings. If the Storage Sync API is unavailable, it will fall back to using your browser’s Web Storage API (localStorage) for storing these settings.
YAM Allowlist Manager also integrates with Google Analytics to collect usage information about the extension for statistical purposes. Google Analytics uses cookies. The information about your use of the extension generated by the Google Analytics cookie is normally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google might disclose personal data collected via the technical procedure to third parties. No “enhanced” features of Google Analytics are used, such as User ID tracking or data collection for advertising purposes.
Google also provides a browser plugin to opt-out of data collection: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. This browser add-on notifies Google Analytics via JavaScript that no data or information about website visitors may be transmitted to Google Analytics.
